About Kyle

You tell him what you want. He figures out how to get there.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in Pennsylvania. By 16 he was working in his father and uncle's handyman business — carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, decking. He went to school to fill in the gaps, then started Redman the Handyman to do it on his own terms.

Before Kyle starts a job, he listens. He wants to understand what you're going for — what you meant, not just what you said. That conversation shapes everything that comes after.

Does Kyle do other jobs not listed here? ▾
Yes. The three services on this site are his main focus, but Kyle can turn his hand to most things in and around the house. If you have something specific in mind, just ask — the worst he'll say is no.
How do I get an estimate? ▾
Fill out the form or call/text. Estimates are free if you're within about 5 miles of Kyle's location or can send photos or video of the job. If you're farther out and can't provide visuals, there's an $85 trip charge — credited back in full if you book the work.
Is Kyle insured? ▾
Yes. General liability through State Farm. Ask for proof before the job starts and he'll send it over.
What are your working hours? ▾
Monday through Friday, 8am–6pm, by appointment. No walk-ins, no same-day emergency calls.
How quickly can Kyle start? ▾
Smaller jobs usually book within 1–2 weeks. Bigger projects — deck builds, full bathroom tile, whole-floor flooring — run 2–4 weeks out. Reach out and he'll give you a real availability window.
What are your payment terms? ▾
To start a job: full material cost upfront, plus a 35% labor deposit. Balance due when the work is done. Kyle takes cash, check, Apple Pay, Zelle, and Cash App.
